Ever wondered what cookies actually are? I mean virtual ones. Everytime you click on a website, you are prompted to accepting them, without ever paying too much attention to what they are and what they mean.
We wanted to explore this gray area, and where exactly we go from navigating the (public) web to sharing our private information. Cookies are bits of data collected by websites that they can revisit at any time. Your private information becomes their tool to improve their services and profit off of.
We wanted to satirize this ignorance of ours, by bringing it out to the real world in the form of a social experiment. In the following video, you can see both the real reactions from people as they are faced with our Totally Legitimate and Legally Binding Contract, as well as an exaggerated, comedic ending.
